These are the terms you agree to when you use Acadence. Plain English, but still the legal contract.
Who can use Acadence
You must be a member of school staff (or acting on behalf of one) and over 18. Pupil accounts aren't supported today.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your credentials safe. Don't share your login. If you think your account has been used by someone else, get in touch and we'll help lock it down.
What you may not do
- Use the tools to generate content that deceives parents, misleads pupils, or misrepresents staff.
- Upload pupil-identifiable data without first redacting it (see our Privacy page).
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, resell, or rebrand Acadence as your own product.
- Use the service to harass, threaten or demean anyone — including automated/bulk hostile messaging.
Breaking any of the above is grounds for us suspending your account.
What Acadence produces
Tool output is generated by a large language model. It's helpful, but it can be wrong. You are the professional — review what the tool produces before sending it, and don't treat its output as fact without checking.
You keep full rights to the polished drafts you produce. We don't claim ownership of your written communications.
Availability and support
We aim for 99.9% uptime. Things occasionally break. If the service is down in a way that's blocking you, email eng.saifkhan2003@gmail.com.
For paid plans, we reply during UK school hours and get critical issues acknowledged within one working day.
Changes to these terms
If we make a material change we'll email you. Small clarifications (wording, typos) don't get an email but are published here.
Liability
Acadence is provided as-is. We'll fix bugs promptly and refund genuine outages, but we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss — including decisions made on the basis of tool output that turn out to be wrong. Always check before sending.
Termination
You can cancel at any time from your profile. Your paid plan runs to the end of the current billing period; your data is deleted within 30 days of account deletion.
We reserve the right to terminate accounts that break the rules above. We'll always tell you why.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
